Copper Red Round Vase.

This vase is glazed in Blue chun and Celedon with a copper carbonate wash applied beforehand, giving it the deep red hues. This large vase is reduction fired in a gas kiln up to 1300 degrees for 6 hours, this brings out the warmth of the iron rich clay and vibrant hues of the glazes used. It has details of sea-glass pressed into the form before firing which me;lts into the glase, creating unique colours and textures.
