This lidded container is reduction fired with gas to enhance the depth of the white nuka glaze and wild clay slip used. It’s deep textured ridges bring energy and movement to the form, whilst still being a functional piece. The contrasting colours in the glaze are achieved by adding sea-glass and wild clay slips to the piece before firing, these melt into the white nuka glaze during the high temperature gas firing.
